Ready for Haiti match
Gabriel (groin) is an option for Friday's match against Haiti, the player told Murilo Borges of ESPN. "I'm very well physically. I had a long season, of many games, but I feel good and prepared."
Analysis: Gabriel is set to be an option and start heading into Friday's contest after some questions about his health, as the defender has shaken off the fatigue that led him to limited training Wednesday. This is major news for the team as they try to bounce back from the opening match draw, as he is set to start alongside Marquinhos in the middle of the defense. They could take him off the field later in the match to save legs as they prepare to face Scotland, although he should remain a starter for Brazil as the tournament moves forward
