Concedes twice in loss to USMNT
Beach recorded one save and allowed two goals in Friday's 2-0 defeat versus USA.
Analysis: Beach gave up two first-half goals, but it's hard to blame him for that outcome. The first was an own goal, and the second was an Alex Freeman header from very close range. Beach seems to have won the starting nod over Mathew Ryan, but it remains to be seen if he'll stay in the XI in a must-win game against Paraguay on Thursday, June 25.

Analysis: Beach was Australia's standout performer, registering eight saves and a clearance. He had to work hard for his clean sheet, preventing 1.5 expected goals (xG). His saves included an incredible stop of a Hakan Calhanoglu free kick in the 86th minute. Beach was the star for what was only his third international appearance. An unexpected starter ahead of veteran Mathew Ryan, he repelled everything Turkey threw at him.
