90 minute clean sheet
Riad recorded two clearances in Friday's 1-0 win over Scotland.
Analysis: Riad was in the starting center-back role again Friday, starting both matches at the World Cup for Morocco thus far. He would see less work against Scotland than he did versus Brazil, only recording two clearances on his way to a clean sheet. He should maintain a starting role alongside Issa Diop, proving to be strong so far.
Three clearances in draw
Chadi Riad registered three clearances, two duels won and two interceptions in Saturday's 1-1 draw against Brazil.
Analysis: Brazil didn't look for Igor Thiago throughout the game, so Riad wasn't as busy as one would've expected from a center-back. That said, the Crystal Palace defender did record more stats than his partner on defense, Issa Diop. Riad should remain in the starting lineup for the June 19 matchup against Scotland.
