Analysis: Demirovic had a rough outing Thursday as he was mainly kept in check by the Swiss defense, not recording a single shot in the loss. This is despite being on the field for 86 minutes, about a quite of a match as you can ask for. He has now gone without a goal in both World Cup matches, only recording two goals.

Demirovic had one shot (one on goal) in Friday's 1-1 draw versus Canada. In addition, he was given a yellow card in the 45th minute.
Analysis: Demirovic was tasked with leading the attack in the absence of Edin Dzeko, who was an unused sub, but the striker struggled to do much throughout the contest. Demirovic isn't at risk of losing his starting role, however, and should be in the XI to face Switzerland on Thursday, June 18.
